Mt Hood & Mt Saint Helens - 5/2024

Our third year visiting Mount Hood, Jacob and I finally had good enough weather for an ascent. Unfortunately, I was recovering from a three-week-long cold and was not at 100% energy, so I climbed to just below the summit on both Hood and St Helens, but not all the way. Jacob did continue on with another group from Colorado to summit Mt Hood.

My high point was the group of rocks above in the middle of the photo. Jacob continued a bit further, but did not summit due to high wind and clouds rolling in.
